Jeju Island is the result of multiple volcanic eruptions off the Korean coast. Since then, it’s been his mission to create natural and gentle beauty products. The idea began in Suh’s childhood as he watched his mother create beauty treatments from camellia oil. Upon its official launch in 2002, Innisfree was marketed as an eco-friendly brand. Innisfree is based in Seoul and has retail stores in Korea, Hong Kong, China, Japan, the US, Canada, and more. Amore Pacific is a beauty conglomerate that’s responsible for about 30 other beauty brands.
Innisfree was founded in 2000 by Suh Kyungbae, who’s the CEO of Amore Pacific.
